"Disclaimer: I received a pair of Plantronics Back Beat Fit Wireless Headphones to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. I was anxiously awaiting these Plantronics Back Beat Fit wireless headphones and they arrived while I was on vacation. I could not wait to try them out! They made Runners World Top10 list of headphones for runners! I have been using regular headphones for long runs and races for awhile now, with mixed reviews. They either fall out once I get going, or with my arm swing I get caught up on the wires. Ugh. Setup I am not a very gadget-savvy person, so I was very happy with how easy they were to connect to bluetooth and get started. I use I Heart Radio and it connected right away. First trial run - outside I got out for a 6 mile run and was so happy that they stayed in (didn’t budge a bit), and had fantastic sound! So crisp and clear. And I could still hear all the ambient noise of a car approaching, etc. The only hiccup was .25 miles in it lost the signal. I got it back right away. Doesn't it look cute with my new Buff USA headband? Second trial run - inside Since I was out of town on business in hot, humid St. Louis, I chose the treadmill instead and grabbed my headphones for the run. Again, big plus here not being tethered to my phone. Love that! The settings take some getting used to – they are really tiny and I found it easier to just adjust the sound or playlist from my phone, since I like to hand carry mine (weird, I know). It did come with its own armband, but I prefer to hang onto mine. It was not necessary to download the Plantronics Back Beat Fit app in order to use this. The headphones are so light, you barely know they are there! You can read more about all their features and where to buy them here
